so as of right now i think deviant art is pretty fucking stupid.

ive been looking through artists' collections at the pitiful modern surrealist artwork that is regarded so highly by all of the morons on this website. i would never think to put an ounce of effort into any of these paintings; the statements being made are far too obvious by my standards. i guess what makes this worse is that: i dont watch the news. i dont read the newspaper. i rarely look at artwork. yet somehow these people are so far less educated than me on the OBVIOUS SHIT that occurs every single fucking day.
SOMEHOW, these fucking people are baffled by not drawing the pupil inside of an eyeball, or drawing nubs instead of hands.

im not saying im a superiour artist by any means. in fact, i regard myself as a lowly pointless human being. my paintings are representations of my emotions, designed to express rays of irregular fantasy with hopelessness bleeding through. daydreams and outerworldly depictions contradict my existential mindset. it's not supposed to ironic. it's supposed to be direct.

it's hard for me to understand why people would vent on topics that are so far out of reach. global warming, pollution, government, and war: every human being capable of creating a worthy art piece deals with these exact same subjects..... every day. why not surprise someone? why not draw them away from all this shit? maybe a new mindset is all they really need. someone may be looking for an escape from all this awareness bullshit. maybe i think that. a lot of you shouldn't really care.
